My tenant owes me rent. What Now?

LANDLORDS REQUEST TO LIST

Not a member of TICA, but would like to list a tenant as a Default on the TICA Database?
With a Landlord's Request to List application this is now possible.

All requests must meet the legal requirements based on the relevant State legislation.
These requirements are outlined below:

Full details of the tenants First Name, Surname and Date Of Birth must be supplied

All individuals to be listed must have a minimum identifying information of Given name, Surname and Date of Birth.

All individuals must be named as a tenant on the Tenancy Agreement

A copy of the front and back page of the Tenancy Agreement must be supplied

A 14 day Pre-Lodgement Warning Letter must be sent prior to listing a tenant. A copy must also be supplied with the request form.

The landlord agrees to notify TICA of any changes with respect to debts being fully repaid or tribunal orders issued.

The landlord agrees to provide references to any member that may contact them and accepts all legal liability in relation to the database listing.

You must send a pre-lodgement warning letter before defaulting a tenant
